Anil Jauhri is former CEO of the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB), a constituent Board of the Quality Council of India (QCI), and India's national accreditation body for certification and inspection attached to Ministry of Commerce & Industry, and retired in July 2019 after 6 and a half years as CEO.

He has over 45 years of experience in the field of quality, standards, certification, accreditation and technical regulations having worked earlier in the Bureau of Indian Standards, the national standards body, and the Export Inspection Council, India's official export regulator and certification body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

Among many positions he holds today are member of UNFCCC CDM Accreditation Panel since 2007, member of UNFCCC Art 6.4 Accreditation Expert Panel since its establishment in Mar 2024, Member of Yoga Certification Board of Govt of India since its inception in 2018, Chair of Governing Council of Carbon Registry – India, a non profit carbon offset initiative, Mentor at IIT, Kanpur's Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre, Chair of BIS Panel on Sustainability and member of BIS Climate Change subcommittee and Visiting Fellow at the Research & Information System for Developing Countries (RIS), an official think tank of Govt of India in MEA.

He is lead a Working Group of Ministry of Ayush which has developed a system for recognizing Ayush products and services which meet global standards, through an AYUSH Quality Mark Programme launched by PM on 19 Dec 2025. He is also chairing a Technical Committee of the Coffee Board for developing a sustainable coffee certification launched on 20 Dec 2025, and development of a Green Hotel certification program anchored by Services Export Promotion Council.

He has been a Visiting faculty in Goa Institute of Management and is also teaching a course on Regulations and Standards in the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

He is nationally and internationally recognized expert having worked with or been invited by such international bodies as UNFCCC, WTO, UNIDO, PTB, FAO, APO, ADB and IFC

Dr.B.S.Madhukar is a distinguished Higher Education expert with over 30 years of experience specializing in educational consultancy, management, assessment and accreditation. An engineer with an MBA in Finance and a PhD in Management focused on Quality Assurance, he served for 21 years at the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) as Adviser and Executive Committee member before taking voluntary retirement is 2018. His extensive career includes experience in Industry (maintenance and marketing), serving as the Founder Director of the University of Mumbai Quality Assurance Cell, co-authoring books and published paper on higher education quality, receiving the Government of Australia's Endeavour Executive Award, and participating in key state and national educational committees. Currently, Dr.Madhukar serves as a advisor, UGC nominee, and IQAC expert for various academic institutions and organizations across India, while continuing to publish articles and conduct assessment-related consultancies.

Former MD of International Association of Plumbing & Mechanical Association (IAPMO, India), a US based body with a scope of Testing, Certification and Education programmes in the Plumbing & Mechanical area.

Presently a Quality Infrastructure Freelance Consultant for developing documentation and imparting trainings for Products/CBs & IBs and Advisor to Institute of Fire Engineers (IFE).

Presently in consulting and training for Personnel Certification Bodies as per ISO/IEC 17024; Inspection Bodies as per ISO/IEC 17020; Management System as per ISO/IEC 17021; Standards Developing Organizations (SDOs), Product/Process certification bodies ISO/ IEC 17065 and Developing various Schemes

Developed Schemes for AYUSHEXCIL for grant of Ayush Quality mark to Ayush products and services, which includes Ayush Hospitals/ Day Care Centres/ Clinics. Now member of AYUSH Quality Mark (AQM) Managing Committee

Was involved in developed Inspection Scheme for Inspection Bodies (IBs) to obtain provisional approval to operate under the Voluntary Fire Safety Inspection Scheme (FSIS) under IFE-AHPI initiative.

Was deputed as Team Leader- GI (Geographic Indication) Project by QCI for developing Voluntary Certification Scheme (VCS) (for DIPP, Ministry of Commerce) to ensure that genuine products claim GI after meeting necessary quality parameters and regulatory requirements.

Member of Technical Committee of Yoga Certification Board (YCB)

Member of various other Working Groups for Upgradation and Implementation of the YCB Schemes in line with International Standards.

Member of Expert Group to develop a sustainable scheme for Hospitality Sector, in line with Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC)

More than 40 years of experience in Conformity Assessment – Product Certification, Laboratory Management, Quality Management system Certification, Laboratory accreditation, Accreditation of Certification/Inspection Bodies, Accreditation of Operational Entities (UNFCCC – CDM/JI and Article 6.4 Mechanism), Accreditation of Reference Material Producers (RMP) and Proficiency Test Providers (PTP), etc.; development of Conformity Assessment Schemes.

Former Scientist 'F' and head of the Western Regional Laboratory of BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) at Mumbai. Took VRS in 2005 after 26 years of service.

Since 2005, assignments/involvements include:

1. Laboratory accreditation work of NABL (Lead Assessor) since 1994 and currently involved in different technical committee, accreditation committee related work, such as committee for accreditation of Test labs, Proficiency Test Providers and Reference Material Producers and review committees.

2. Since May 2006 involved in the activities of the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB), QCI, as an empanelled accreditation lead assessor for Certification Bodies for QMS, FSMS, Product certification and for Inspection Bodies. Was also involved in preparation of NABCB documentation for transition to ISO 17011: 2017.

3. Am involved in carrying out accreditation assessment, as empanelled lead assessor/team lead, for the accreditation program (CDM and JI and Article 6.4 mechanism under Paris agreement) of the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change (UNFCCC).

4. Have regular conducted as faculty the training program on accreditation standards such as ISO/IEC 17025 (Laboratory QMS), ISO/IEC 17021-1 (Management system certification), ISO/IEC 17065, (Product Certification), ISO/IEC 17020 (Inspection), ISO 17043 (PTP), ISO 17034 (RMP) in India and abroad.

5. Have been involved in development of certification/inspection schemes, such Q Mark Voluntary Certification Scheme for Food Products, Voluntary Certification Scheme for Lead Safe Paints, Fire Safety Inspection Scheme (FSIS), Indian Coffee Sustainability Certification Scheme (INDICOFS), AYUSH Quality Mark Scheme.

Dr. Deepika Ganju Gunawant received her graduate degree from Kolkata University in 1985, followed by her MD in Ayurveda from the same university in 1990.

She has a rich and wide experience of more than three decades ranging from research ,clinical, teaching, operations ,marketing and regulatory . She worked for Dabur for nearly five years in her first stint before moving to UK in 1995 .While in London , she worked in several positions as Marketing Director and Chief Physician with the Ayurvedic Company of Great Britain and the Ayurvedic Charitable Hospital in Central London . Rejoined Dabur as Head- Global Regulatory affairs and Business Development in UK in 2004 and relocated to India in 2007 with the same responsibility during her second stint .

She worked as a Consultant with AYUSH from July 2009 to December 2010 .From April 2011 to October 2015 -Medical Director ( Max Ventures ) and Head –Integrative Health and Well being involved in setting up of 3 businesses – 1) Vana retreat - wellness department 2) Therapiya - a Centre for Integrative Medicine with ancient healing traditions in New Delhi 3) Vanaveda - Product conception to formulation and development based on traditional wisdom of Ayurveda with organic and eco certified ingredients She continues to be associated with Quality Council of India (NABCB and NABH ) in the capacity of an Expert and Assessor - advising on various Ayush projects from 2009 .From 2012 -2023 Senior Consultant Ayurveda and wellness with Max multispecialty centre at Panchsheel , New Delhi Presently - Additional medical Director with Apollo Ayurvaid New Delhi Consultant cum Advisor to a number of companies working in wellness space and new products development based on traditional Ayurveda wisdom . While in United Kingdom –She worked as an Associate lecturer with the Thames Valley University in London for the Ayurvedic Degree course . Worked as a Honorary Consultant with MHRA ( Medicines and Healthcare Regulatory Agency,UK) and was nominated twice as a member of the Working group formed under Dept Of Health, UK for statutory regulation of Herbal (Ayurvedic ) professionals ( HMRWG ) .Lectured extensively and conducted programmes in Europe on various subjects of Ayurveda .Invited for workshops by WHO – as an expert for setting up guidelines for Ayurveda courses She was responsible for initiating two clinical trials in Brescia ,Italy - on Hepatitis B and High Cholesterol using Ayurvedic drugs . She has a number of International articles to her credit and is the co-author of the book entitled "Complete Illustrated guide to Ayurveda " published in UK by Element books and available in over 500 libraries world over . She is the Founder President of British Association of Accredited Ayurvedic Practitioners (BAAAP) in the UK and Founder Member of Central Italian Institute of Oriental Medicine (CISMO )She was awarded with " PRANACHARYA" in 2008 by the Ayurveda maha sammellan for her Valuable contributions in promotion of Ayurveda globally.
